The location of Oasis Deira is great, right in the middle of the market. If you're here for shopping, it's perfect. Compared to other hotels in the same area, it's just the same average quality in terms of cleanliness. The rooms are quite sufficient for just a place to sleep.

The staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make me feel at ease and comfortable
The location wasn't as good as I had hoped, you needed to get taxis to most places, maybe this was down to my ignorance of the city as well though

The hotel is conveniently situated for the souk area and reasonably close to Dubai Creek.
The receptionist tried to keep hold of our passports without giving us a suitable reason why it was necessary. When we asked for them back he was quite agressive and offensive. Also, there is no car parking.

The counter staffs are friendly and helpful in our enquiries.
The breakfast spread is not attractive. Many times the food was run out and refill was not done promptly.

Location only. Everything else was not up to the mark for the price.
Very poor breakfast. For this price there are better hotels nearby. The comode cistern lid was falling apart. The towel hanger and the dirty bidet head should be fixed at different locations. The clean towels were hanging over the bidet head and was contaminated by the bidet head. Very unhygenic. The sink was blocked.Sortage of warm water.Airconditioner control not satisfactory.

It is well positioned for anyone that wants to do some shopping. It is in the centre of the market. The staff also are ready to assist you for locating some shops.
The kitchen staff are not friendly. I presumed the reason is that they are not as exposed in training like other staff. Most of them don't speak understandable English.

The location is great, in the middle of Deira souk area. Lots of low-key trading action. Staff of the hotel is very nice.
The rooms are incredibly noisy, I changed the room in the middle of my stay hoping to get a more quiet room, but the same problem. The noise is coming from the corridor - no soundproofing, constant door banging and elevator rings throughout the night. Bring the earplugs. The room could have been cleaner.

We arrived at 7am. The reception tried their best to get us a room as they knew we had a long flight. We were so thankful for their kind thoughts. The staffs made our stay a comfortable one although the rooms are small & sometimes we can smell the strong manly perfumes. The rooms were cleaned everyday & towels changed daily. Daily simple breakfast with a very polite waiter made our day.
